Well, this is a surprise. In today’s first Sunrise from Summer Game Fest, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 was revealed to the public. The game is a compilation remake of the first two games of the beloved franchise that is being developed by Vicarious Visions for the PS4, Xbox One and PC via the Epic Games Store (No Switch port?). The remake will the same skateboarders and levels as the original games. The soundtrack will be mostly the same but there will be songs missing from the remake’s soundtrack. The classic challenges from these games also return with new additions not seen in the original games. Speaking of new additions, new moves have been introduced such as reverts that were introduced in later games of the series. The remake will also support both online and local multiplayer if you want to compete with your friends to get the highest scores in a match. Create-a-Park and Create-a-Skater also return which can be shared online with the community. This game might rinse the mouths of people that were not happy of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 which was critically lambasted for being a poor skating game. What do you guys think about the reveal? Excited to play the remake compilation for two classic games? Comment below and let me know.
