Just after the official cancellation of E3, Xbox boss Phil Spencer has taken to Twitter to reveal the plans for Xbox. He writes that “E3 has always been an important moment for Team Xbox. Given this decision, this year we’ll celebrate the next generation of gaming with the @Xbox community and all who love to play via an Xbox digital event. Details on timing and more in the coming weeks.” It is light on information but it does confirm that Xbox will still have a presence during the summer showcasing their new console and games. Maybe an Inside Xbox special episode? Other companies such as Ubisoft have also announced their own live streams and digital experiences after E3 2020’s cancellation.
