Disney Announces Release Months For Its First Marvel TV Shows On Disney+

Marvel Studios is adding to its portfolio by making TV shows in addition to movies. Some of the first series announced was The Falcon and The Winter Soldier alongside Wandavision. Being the first revealed, it’s not surprising that they are the first to have release months. In a call with investors during the company’s first-quarter earnings report, Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed that The Falcon and Winter Soldier will premiere in August while Wandavision will premiere in December. More specific reveal dates are expected in the coming months. Both series were featured in the recent Super Bowl spot where footage was shown from multiple Disney+ Marvel series. Unlike previous Marvel TV shows, these new series are more directly connected to the wider MCU and will play a role in the storyline of the movies. For example, Wandavision is directly connected to the upcoming movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. This is an exciting time as Kevin Feige now has a direct role in these new TV series so audiences are excited about what Marvel Studios can do in a TV format. Are you guys excited about the recent reveal of premiere months? Excited for the future of MCU? Comment below and let me know.
