Sony Launches Official PS5 Website … With No New Info

Sony has launched the official website for the PS5 today but there is no new info regarding the system. The website is really bare-bones at the moment with the PS5 logo, a tagline of “Playstation 5 is coming”, and the release window of Holiday 2020. All of this information was revealed late last year and in this year’s CES. Under this header, there is a message form Sony that states “We’ve begun to share some of the incredible features you can expect from Playstation 5, but we’re not quite ready to fully unveil the next generation of Playstation. Sign up below to be among the first to receive updates as we announce them, including news on the PS5 release date, PS5 price, and the upcoming roster of PS5 launch games.” There is a sign-up form below it aaaannnnndddd that’s about it.

This website shows how Sony is still playing with their cards close to their chest. Compared to Xbox who has revealed the console, controller and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II for the system, Playstation has revealed very little of the console, controller, or any games. Other than a couple of Wired articles regarding the PS5 features and controller, Playstation has been mostly quiet. Many theorized that there is going to be a Playstation event for the PS5 reveal this month yet nothing has been confirmed officially by Sony. If I had to guess, March is going to be the month where the PS5 is revealed. What do you guys think about the new website? Is the PS5 reveal imminent? Comment below and let me know.
