Stadia Launch Lineup Nearly Doubles in Size

Well, this is surprising. Less than a week after Google Stadia’s launch lineup was revealed, Phil Harrison announced more titles for launch day. This news was published yesterday on twitter by both Phil Harrison and Geoff Keighley. The newly added titles for launch are as follows:

  • Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle
  • Farming Simulator 19
  • Final Fantasy XV
  • Football Manager 2020
  • GRID
  • Metro Exodus
  • NBA 2K20
  • Rage 2
  • Trials Rising
  • Wolfenstein: Youngblood

That’s 10 titles in total which joins the previously announced titles on launch day. The total number of games on launch has now grown to 22 titles. Stadia has not added any more titles for the rest of the year lineup which is worrisome but it still has around 4 games for what’s left of the year. The launch day lineup is definitely more competitive than it was before but the question is can it compete with Project Xcloud which has recently added 50 titles to its preview program. The cloud game streaming wars are heating up but do you guys care? Is Stadia doomed to fail like so many other Google products or will this be the exception? Comment below and let me know.
